Beo Binn, a new musical and artistic collective based in Dingle, Co. Kerry, are delighted to present Alabama 3 who will perform an acoustic and unplugged set in the Hillgrove on Friday July 30th.

Alabama 3, by their own description make “Sweet Pretty Muthafunkin Country Acid House Music”.

There isn’t three of them, nor are they from Alabama…Brixton, London is where the collective originate.

They achieved global success as their offering ‘Woke Up this Morning’ became a sensation as the theme tune of cult TV series The Sopranos.

A deal with Geffen followed and Alabama 3 have been touring ever since, enjoying a cult following of their own.

Alabama 3, in full on urban gangster mode, will be accompanied by live visuals and graffiti artwork exhibition.  Street artists will be at work spraying live on boards on-site.

As regulars at all the major festivals, this is a major coup for Beo Binn, who enjoyed a supremely successful launch last month, welcoming superstar DJ BBC1s Gilles Peterson to Dingle.

BEO BINN (a phrase taken from Irish, pronounced Be-o Been) promise a sensory overload on the night and are calling on stencilers, graffiti artists and visual artists to get in touch to take part in the event.

Aside from the coup of landing Alabama 3, Beo Binn are also delighted to announce other upcoming dates with Mick Flannery and full band on July 23rd along with a carved stone sculpture exhibition.

Mundy plays on Friday July 16th with a selection of artwork.

O’ Emperor play on Friday August 20th amongst a clutter of bric-a-brac.

BeoBinn TV will be filming interviews and tunes before each gig for their live YouTube Channel.

BEO BINN, launching nights of music and creativity – Alabama 3 – Friday July 30th, taking place in the town’s largest venue, Dingle’s Hillgrove Club.

BEO BINN will reach its climax with an all encompassing boutique festival in Dingle in the near future.
